Memory foam has a porous honeycomb structure, has good softness, water absorption and other characteristics, and is widely used in sofas, clothing, flexible packaging and other industries. For example, memory foam car pillows are popular among riders. In order to increase the flexibility and elasticity of the foam, memory foam manufacturers often foam it.
(1) One-step foaming method.
Add raw materials such as polyether, polyester polyol, polyisocyanate, water, catalyst, surfactant, foaming agent, and other additives in one-off step, and then foam under high-speed stirring and mixing.
(2) Prepolymer foaming method.
It means that polyether polyol and diisocyanate are first made into a prepolymer, and then water, surfactants, catalysts and other additives are added to the prepolymer and mixed under high-speed stirring for foaming. After curing, it is cured at a certain temperature.
(3) Semi-prepolymer foaming method.
It means that part of the polyether polyol and diisocyanate are first made into a prepolymer, and then the other part of the white material and black material, catalyst, water, surfactant and other additives are added into it, then mixed under high-speed stirring for foaming. This foaming method is similar to the prepolymer foaming method to a certain extent.
(4) Manual foaming method.
It is the easiest method by accurately weighing all raw materials.
